hello and welcome to top X where we countdown the very best that YouTube has to offer today we’re toning up for bikini season and counting down the top 10 women’s Fitness channels on YouTube last week we took a look at Men’s Fitness channels seeing as men and women usually have very different goals when it comes to fitness and exercise this week we’re switching it up and taking a look at channels aimed primarily at the feminine gender we ranked today’s picks mostly on subscriber numbers but we also factored in use votes from our users personal preference and general impact on the YouTube community while some of these channels do sell products of their own we are judging them solely on their merits as YouTube channels we do not endorse vouch for or recommend any products that they might be selling number 10 passion for profession when you’re counting down YouTube channels you often find yourself talking about eccentric personalities and really compelling hosts in that sense passion for profession is a bit of an oddity it’s easier to show you what I mean here get into the starting position one two one two one two as you can no doubt see passion for professions videos are focus yoga Kara Stiles is the founder of the stralla yoga studio in New York and the creator of the stralla style of yoga lucky for you she’s got a YouTube channel now so you don’t have to go to New York and pay for classes to get some top-notch yoga instruction when you are ready here begging how open the top of your body all the way forward and tuck your toes lift your hips right up and back to your nice down dog here kara strive to make yoga a lot more accessible although her classes and duster videos are all broken down into categories like strong energized or gentle all of them are relatively easy to perform push down big inhale up to your high lunge as you exhale right back down plant your palms however you’d like finding your way right on back to your downward dog nice and PopSugar Fitness assuming you watched our episode on alternative cooking channels you might already be familiar with pop sugar for their food channel amongst others you got the dish you ate the trend and now it’s time to work it all off alright so this whole first part of the workout is gonna be your warmup and your dynamics really get your muscles opened up and get that warmth going through one of the strongest aspects of this channel aside from there oh sure perky host is there class bit sugar playlists here is a collection of complete workouts that are tailored to be done alongside the hosts as you watched each ranging from five to thirty minutes these are fantastic because you don’t have to mix and match different techniques and videos you just pick one that works and follow along channel yoga with Adriene one of the reasons I love yoga practice is whether we like it or not every time I step on the mat I am reminded that ultimately we are responsible for our own happiness while Tara Stiles and her channel definitely puts a lot of effort into making her routines easy and unobtrusive Adrienne goes above and beyond to make her stuff very accommodating for beginners on top of several individual videos entitled Yoga for Beginners she’s organized a playlist specifically designed to ease newcomers into the practice then she’s got playlists for the foundations of yoga also good for beginners as well as lists for weight loss yoga for runners Yoga for healing and even yoga on the road however by far our most impressive compilation to date is her 30 days of yoga series this series of 30 videos meant for practitioners of all skill levels is a month-long experience that offers a veritable SH Mortgage Board of yoga a sort of soft challenge that you can do at home the day the next workout beach day number five body rock enough the friendly stuff here’s the channel designed to kick your ass and number five we have body rock frequently hosted by Lisa Marie and her rock-hard body Jim as Lisa Marie explains in the trailer these workouts are designed to push you out of your comfort zone to get results those of you that prefer intensity to your workouts and really want to sweat it out and suffer for your body will feel right at home oh there’s punches oh I’m making those nicely mom’s you gotta keep going when I’m done yet four three two as if the videos themselves weren’t challenging enough they also post several a week so there’s almost always something new to challenge yourself with on top of that I think this is the first time I’m pointing this out on topics but check out how awesome their stills are gotta get points for that number 4x hit daily next up is another channel full of challenging workouts and routines our number four pick is X hit daily one thing that’s characteristic about the X hit videos is that they don’t waste any time before starting even the host seems eager to get right to it and begin okay today except we are getting Jessica Alba’s ABS yes we are alphy today it’s gonna be helping me out as well okay those of you that hate the preamble and just want to get on with a challenging workout will appreciate the breakneck efficiency that these hosts get down to business so arms out here we’re not just laying on the ground so we’re gonna do what we call Superman some people call them other things but all we’re doing is flexion through the lower back bring it up hamstrings and glutes bring it down nice and slow coming back to the subject of workout goals a lot of people will look at a picture of a celebrity and say I want that the X hip team embraces this idea wholeheartedly with their celebrity workouts playlist which contains videos like Jessica Alba abs workout Maria Sharapova arms of course Kim Kardashian but but we’re gonna really be concentrating on working up those glute muscles so you want to really think about squeezing every single time and it helps when we’re going slower going even further they have another sizable playlist and called the Victoria’s Secret model workouts playlist so those of you that saw the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and decided you know now it’s time to get in shape you know where to start number three Fitness Blender although this is not the first channel we’ve seen today that does this fitness lender definitely benefits from appealing to both genders guys and girls right away you’ll notice that Fitness blenders videos are pretty slick in the tech department they’re filmed in a minimalist all-white studio with multiple cameras and feature cool little details like a calorie counter and a blue meter on the side of the frame that lets you know how much of the workout you got left to go this is a feature that I really appreciate myself as it makes it very easy to pace yourself when you know how much left you have to go and let it relax all right that is quick and I am mighty tired my lungs are burning my legs are nice and jelly another strong point for fitness blender is just how extensive they are they cover a huge variety of topics and their workouts range from just five minutes to over an hour and a half so basically beginner or expert guy or girl there has to be something for you here start up one two three number to be fit if there was one channel that we’re looking at today that I’d say it looks more like a TV show than a YouTube channel I’d say it would be befit sporting some of the biggest names in Fitness today as hosts beef it has the look and feel of an at-home fitness DVD a perky host a great-looking set and a bunch of assistants following along with the workout are the bread and butter of most of their content one two three Neelix other side one two three Nealon as I mentioned before beef it is a channel that prides itself on its high profile hosts jillian michaels scott herman and denise austin are among some of the names you’ll see on the channel and essentially the idea is you’ll pick one that you really like and follow all of their stuff exclusively you look around guys although like a lot of other fitness channels they have a ton of great playlists one of the ones that I find the most noteworthy are the ones that are devoted to short workouts meaning they have one four seven minute workouts and one for ten and then on the other side there’s their bootcamp series which are huge packages that are meant to be done over long periods of time great for those of you that want to commit to a long term goal before we get to our number one pick here are a few honorable mentions number one Blogilates coming in at number one is Blogilates the most subscribed women’s fitness channel on youtube hosted by the irrepressibly cheerful Cassie ho hey guys Cassey here it is a new month and guess what that means new workouts this month you’re doing a whole on fire serious so I’m gonna put your abs on fire your butt I’m firing your arms apart everything’s gonna be burning and you’re going to love it as you may have guessed although it admittedly took me a while Cassie is a Pilates instructor and so Pilates is the name of the game on her channel reach and boom oh you looking so good and uh a little spin she puts on her videos is something she calls pop pilates where she performs her various workouts with popular pop songs playing along in the background while this may seem like a simple gimmick it not only makes the videos more enjoyable at face value but it also helps distract you from the workout since you can just simply listen along with the song pop Pilates is actually so popular that it’s gonna be its own class at 24-hour fitness gyms in the United States right alongside Zumba and turbo kickboxing but you’ve got a youtube subscription who needs a gym membership our last week like abstract if you’re a beginner you can bend your knees and arms and front of me often when we get to number one we try to figure out why our number one pick is so popular for blogilates I’d say it’s the blog aspect of her channel cassie is just a great charismatic host one that keeps people coming back for every video she posts whether she’s guiding you in a workout or
